Ben Boss – Financial Adviser
Hobbs Financial Solutions started, in a roundabout way, following a difficult remortgage myself. With a slightly awkward financial situation, when we went through the process ourselves, we found that every lender seemed to have its own rules and its own way of assessing us as potential borrowers. Having to go to each one and explain things over and over again, made for a stressful few months. Looking back, I probably should have used a broker myself — but going through it firsthand taught me a huge amount, and I realised I could put that experience to good use for other people facing the same troubles.
I set up Hobb’s Financial Solutions in 2024, with a simple aim: to genuinely help people understand their situation, their options and provide them the right advice for their situation.
As a small firm, of just one well supported adviser at the moment, it means every client gets my full attention. This means that when you come to us for advice, you will work with the same adviser throughout, building a relationship and helping to ensure that nothing is missed.
Outside of financial advising, I’ve spent over 20 years in the fire service, starting in the retained duty service in Suffolk, before moving into a full-time role in West London in 2008, where I still serve as a Crew Manager today. It’s a career built on service, trust and looking after people when it matters — and it’s that approach I hope to bring to your finances too.
